Cecile Witlox

"I joined Schut's team in November 2020, after working for Allen & Overy LLP for over ten years. I have extensive experience in the field of corporate law with a focus on private equity, (corporate) restructuring, mergers & acquisitions and joint ventures. I also advise on corporate governance, shareholder meetings and management and/or employee participations.

I studied at Utrecht University and completed my master's degree in Notarial Law in March 2010. I have completed the usual notarial training courses and have been authorised to deputise since 2014. On 1 September 2022, I was sworn in as a civil-law notary by the Amsterdam District Court.

When I am not at work at Schut, I like to spend my time with my husband and three children - we love playing Duplo, doing puzzles, playing outside, taking walks on the heath and doing crafts - and I love to cook - preferably without the children, unless we are baking biscuits or cakes together."
